OTU commands
Making an OTU table (otutab command)
Convert OTU table from counts to presence (0) / absence (1) values.
Note -- this command is not usually recommended because presence / absence cannot be reliably measured with amplicon sequencing due to cross-talk.
The input file must be in QIIME classic format.
The output file is specified by the -output option.
Example
usearch -otutab_binary otutab.txt -output otutab_bin.txt
